      Starting configuration, 15.4", 2.3Ghz processor, 8GB RAM, GT 650M 1GB, 256GB flash... $2199
220 pixels per inch, 5,184,000 pixels.

As long as you don't intend on any high-end gaming.

Or, you could, like, stick with Windows 7?

That is kind of funny, I thought high end gaming moved to the xbox, and mostly the game market cross hairs is aimed at the console market.

jebus, chad, your stupid really levels up exponentially - following your logic the ACTUAL highend gamers are the Farmville lovers...

                Err nope
I take it you don't game a whole bunch these days

The Console market is definitely thriving, although some could argue on a downward trend atm (especially with no new consoles on the immediate horizon - WiiU doesn't count!)

The new iMacs would be stressed running BF3 @ 1920x1080 max detail.

The GT650M is benchmark comparable to the GT570 Nvidia chip-set. While a big step up, I wouldn't be surprised if you would need to use a Thunderbolt set up to make the next gen of games run at a playable frame rate. Although from what I've read - Thunderbolt doesn't like any GPU drawing more than 150W.
