  • Epic! Adobe wins (again)

    Unblurring images, yeah we've all seen it done a million times before in Cookie-Cut Police Procedural Drama 1 through 20,349,389. Adobe has just delivered another WTF moment though, similar to their video about Photoshop CS5's intelligent repair function, because they've built software that can actually do it.

    The video here is arse (could use the unblur function on it plzkthnx) but the crowd's reaction provides a good indicator of how impressive this potential new Photoshop feature is:

      Yeah that was pretty much my reaction as well.
      They are using a simple approach; and that is working out 'how' the camera blurred the image. I would imagine the algorithm's to actually do that however, is nothing short of genius.

        OH SNAP! that is so awesome... just increased my photo library by about 500% since my lense with image stabiliser crapt itself.
