Im writing this post to put out our official apology for the inconvenience to all our past and current members for all the emails our Event Notification System has caused.
This issue has stumped me for a long time as I could not find anywhere in the code why it would be sending these emails.
So yesterday after I received two more emails from our past members who had received another email about our DGA Epoch LAN, I investigated what was happening.
After checking the email headers it was found that our darwingamers.net domain was the culprit and that the files were still being accessed which kept trying to email out a notification to a Event that didn't exist in the Database.
Now I know that everyone who had attended a DGA in the past had been receiving these emails and again we apologise.
DGA is working very hard to be the Premier LAN Event in the Northern Territory and we are working back up to providing a Evolution Event in the near future.
DGA would like to invite each and every one of our past members and current who haven't attended a DGA LAN is a while to come down and have a game, socialise and/or offer your LAN experience to assist DGA to become the best it can be.
Thank you again for all your support and we look forward to seeing you at our next Event at the end of May.
