Lans in alice springs

Morning,
Recently moved to alice springs, checking to see if there are currently any lans being run around the joint.

I've read that there were some run many years ago but cant find any info on ones that may be running at the moment.

I haven't anything like that in recent times, Alice being alot smaller would have a small gaming community wouldn't it?
But yeah, people there should set one up again.

From late 1999 to mid 2000's, there was a lan party held in Alice Springs. Many times it was held at the Det 421 Rec Center, sometimes people's houses. The intent was to have fun, talk smack, and see friends. This vid highlights some of the people who enjoyed it.

i wasnt sure if it was old or if they are still a bit behind with the technology

google also says that there is an EB in Alice, maybe that would be a starting point
