Metro - 2033

Has anyone here played Metro 2033?

I've read some reviews and looked at some game play footage and it looks really good.
First hand accounts are always better though.

Very cool game. I've only played a few chapters, it's a bit linear atm which I'm hoping will open up a little. Graphics are awesome! Story is pretty cool. Ya can tell some guys from stalker worked on this lol.
My tip when playing the game is stock up on ammo something fierce haha!

From what I understand, it doesn't open up. It's a linear experience. Eg. Arkham Asylum, Modern Warfare and Uncharted to name some recent titles. And then there's the whole Half-Life series. Being taken along the path of an engrossing story delivers a much better single player experience than wandering around in a sandbox or open-world title, in my opinion.

No I agree, I meant like Batman in terms of opened up. Right now it's just point A to Point B, enjoy the cutscenes in between sorta thing.

Just realised this was developed with official support for Nvidia 3D Vision. Purchased.

I'll have to wait until I can buy a GTX 480, because my 285 chuggs playing it in 3D.
