Battlefield Heroes - beta keys

Just got an email from Gamespot telling me to signup for a BF Heroes beta key - just did and got the key immediately: GameSpot Beta :: Battlefield Heroes

also, 4gb that you're forced to download through their browser plugin.. not happening for me

I got my key through FilePlanet, and the installer wants to create the EA Games\Battlefield Heroes folder but apparently I don't have sufficient privileges to do so, despite having full admin rights and every other game installing perfectly.

maybe because it's trying to install via your browser?

hmm i was going to make the effort to install it under Win 7 but if it's that bad, I don't think I will bother.
I think I was only attracted to it because of the words "free" and "Battlefield".

This game is soooo shit.

it sure is. The best class you can play is a soldier or a gunner because most times ur connected to a international server with no rego or late rego and those classes have guns that spam.
