I've been running it on my HTPC for years... but if you've got a media centre, you've probably got a keyboard and mouse... and running a browser a lot better than the Steam one. It'll be good for selecting games you want to play with a controller but that's about it I reckon...

Does it allow multiple logins of your account? because otherwise it's completely useless to me.

unlikely, harb. But really, since they added the authorised machine functions to the client, they should allow this now. Change it to block multiple sessions of the same game and leave it at that.
