  • What would you pay? (My WoW account)

Thinking of selling my WoW account.

    1x 70 Warrior (human)
    1x 70 Rogue (NE)
    1x 70 Warlock (Gnome)
    1x 70 Warlock (Undead)
    1x 70 Hunter (Dwarf)
    1x 67 Druid (NE)
    1x 66 Shaman (Draenei)
    1x 65 Mage (Gnome)
    1x 61 Paladin (Dwarf)

If you're thinking thats alot of characters, I've sunk 237days into the account, approximately 5700 hours played.

Rogue has full T4 + T5 shoulders, S1 Offhand (Sword), Spiteblade MH.
S2 Offhand (Dagger) + Malchazeen and like 15 other lvl70 epics, sitting in bank.
Rogue Trinket from VR + DST from Gruul, Badge reward Wrists, boots, neck.
Trades - 375 JC (Almost every design known, including random world drops. I think I'm missing only 2 from being complete), 375 Mining - Epic mount - PvE raiding rogue.

Warrior has basic blue armour (Dps + Tanking) with T1 Crafted 2hMace and 2hSword.
    Trades - 375 Blacksmithing

Gnome Warlock is in 3/3 Crafted FSW, Staff of Infinite Mysteries and almost completely epic from Kara / Heroics.
Trades are 375 Engineering, 375 Tailoring.

Undead Warlock is in basic blues + 2pcs of FSW.
    Trade - 375 Tailor.

Dwarf Hunter is in 3pcs of T4 (Helm, Shoulders, Gloves), Badge reward Bracers, Bow from Attumen, almost completely epic.
Trades are 375 Leatherworking, 375 Skinning.

Druid, Shaman. Paladin and Mage are all in typical levelling items (Blues/Greens).

Account contains about 3.5k gold in total across characters.
Rogue is the main character on the account and the best geared.
Lots of materials in my bank character, wont bother going into detail.
All 70's are Keyed for Karazhan.

I think the strong point if I get a good offer, is you can pretty much experience level 70 raiding with any class (except a priest). The Shaman/Druid/Mage/Paladin need levelling, but Im doing that in my spare time at the moment (to a degree).

If you were going to buy the account, what would you be prepared to pay?
This isn't a WTS thread, I'm just putting feelers out to see what people would offer.

I'm no WoW player, but I've seen accounts with individual lvl70 characters go for up to USD $300 etc.

    So probably a shitload mate.

You should be able to get upwards of $750 for that sort of setup.

Yeah, it can be hard to tell because of the infinite variations in accounts (Characters/Gear etc).

Thanks for the responses though, gives me a ballpark figure for sure.

                Buy WoW Accounts

My account is better than some of theirs, which are over 2kUSD.
I'd imagine they have at least a 100% mark up, so i'd still be close to 1k.

                Nice.

Update - Consignment site just offered 655usd. Not too bad.

$2000/5700hours = you made $0.35 hour! however i made nothing for CS, thehehe.

I've never played WoW, but is it worth quickly finishing off those 4 characters to level 70?

I'd advertise it on Ebay if I were you, start the bidding at the figure offered by that site, and advertise the auction anywhere/everywhere possible.

If you get more than that quoted figure, bonus. If it doesn't sell, then you sell it to that said for quoted figure - there's nothing to lose really.

na but i wonder if it would be worth paying like $150 getting a couple other accounts and trans the 70's between them, then selling the accounts?
