I've spent the last three weeks getting married, going on a honeymoon, diving The Great Barrier Reef and getting The Bends. It seems a lot went on while I was gone, but rather than spam your RSS, Twitter and Facebook feeds with a dozen new articles, I thought a summary of those stories would be best, prior to business as usual.

There's some nervous anxiety building amongst fans of the Max Payne franchise, as it has been dormant for a decade and Max Payne 3 is being developed by Rockstar with no input from the original developer, Remedy Entertainment. Rest assured that Remedy are very happy with how it's all turning out.

Rockstar have launched a new series of Max Payne 3 trailers, focusing on a number of design and technology aspects of their forthcoming bullet-time shooter. This debut video showcases the impressive targeting mechanics, movement and animation, enemy intelligence and other innovations.
