    Unconfirmed reports from Insideris tell the exciting story that you will be able to play Xbox 360 games on your Windows 8 PC! Earlier this month Microsoft announced plans to merge Xbox.com and Games for Windows Marketplace into a one-stop-shop, which perhaps give some weight to the rumour. However it is also said that a the GFWL platform will still be used, restricting cross-platform multiplayer, initially at least.

    VideoGamer.com is reporting that Microsoft is planning to announce the successor to the Xbox 360 at next year's E3, and Crytek has already commenced work on the development of a TimeSplitters game for the next generation of consoles.     Just a day after the FOXTEL for Xbox 360 announcement was made, we become privy to a heap of new details thanks to an interview with Microsoft's Andrew Jenkins over at AusGamers. And it's most disappointing. When asked if the service will provide IQ-like functionality, being the pausing and rewinding of live television, Jenkins responded explaining that there will indeed be live TV, but "won't have those features."     Microsoft's Xbox 360 and FOXTEL have linked arms to deliver the popular pay television service via the popular games console.
