NVIDIA publishes PC tweak guide for Skyrim

Care of Koroush who runs tweakguides.com, NVIDIA has published a Skyrim tweak guide at GeForce.com. "The aim of this guide is to allow you to better understand and utilize all of the configuration options available in Skyrim, as well as a selection of advanced tweaks to enhance the game." It's a good one to check out for those PC gamers wanting to squeeze as much joy as they can from Bethesda's acclaimed RPG. You can find it by clicking here.

Battlefield 3 reviews well, gets new Nvidia drivers

Battlefield 3 already has an impressive 93/100 review average at Metacritic, with numerous full-mark scores dished out by major publishers including Eurogamer and GameSpy. This is good news for DICE's Patrick Bach, executive producer on Battlefield 3, who believes that "it's hard for a developer to be judged by anything but reviews." We're also happy to deliver the news that Nvidia has released a new Battlefield 3 optimised driver! The 285.38 beta drivers previously released could bolster your BF3 fr...

RAGE will make you do so as it's riddled with problems

In keen anticipation of a hefty play session and the writing of a review I fired up RAGE for the first time last night. It turns out that not even the great id Software is immune to releasing a bad console port, and RAGE certainly appears to be one. Like many others I'll have to wait until some fundamental matters are addressed before playing, as the PC release is currently riddled with problems. When the game wasn't crashing with errors I wasn't able to enable vsync to reduce tearing, or even cha...

PC game sales to surpass consoles by 2014

PC game sales already out-perform any individual console, but the latest predictions discussed on an Nvidia conference call promote the idea that by 2014 PC game sales will surpass all consoles, combined. Their claims are based on the growth of PC gaming software over the past few years, as well as the stagnation of console software - and they have some DFC Intelligence data to back it up. The growth of PC gaming can largely be attributed to the rapid surge in digital sales, as boxed copies of P...

Nvidia announce world's first wireless graphics card

Get set for Nvidia's KFA2, a wireless GTX 460. Like me, your first thought is probably "why?" But the more I think about it, the more I think I want one. Mainly for media centre use. Picture the scenario: you have a media centre with hefty raid setup in your living room. You're playing the latest games, watching HD content and using it as a data hub for your network. It's not the smallest box in the world, and it sure isn't the quietest. So how about just sticking it in another room?...

GeForce GTX 480 reviewed, fastest GPU in the world

With the official product launch, reviews for Nvidia's GeForce GTX 470 and 480 are now widely available. Not surprisingly, it's the single fastest card on the planet - but by less than you might imagine. You're looking at $500 USD for the flagship 480 and $349 USD for the 470. Both will be available April 12th in very limited quantities initially. Here are a list of bunch of review links, courtesy of VE3D......

    Nvidia adding 3-screen support

NVIDIA's CES 2010 showcase has been rather impressive, despite not showing-off their next GPU core; the GF100. Much has been revealed about their new Tegra chip, and noteably their plans for future cards to support 3 monitors - essentially taking the punch out of ATI's Eyefinity......
