Gearbox have released a new Aliens: Colonial Marines trailer showcasing a heap of, as the trailer title suggests, action! It's a must watch. Re-announced just last month at E3, the game isn't out until "sometime next year" but it sounds like it will be worth the wait; Gearbox's Randy Pitchford says it's "holy f***" good.

The next victim of the recent spree of games industry hacks is Sega. 1,290,755 customers' SEGA Pass information including members name, email addresses, dates of birth and encrypted passwords were stolen. Sega has told CVG that this has called for a prompt to "further strengthen our network security as a priority issue and strive to prevent any potential recurrence". No financial information was stored on the site....

It turns out Sega was planning to get back into the console hardware market after all, sort of. Kotaku has pointed out a page from Kmart's latest catalog, featuring a "15 games in one" Megadrive product. Yes, it's legit, and it comes with two seemingly original-spec controllers as well a cartridge slot for your old games if they're still lying around. And it's only $49!
