Brink is merely a week away. It's one of two big shooter releases I'm looking forward to this year, the other is unsurprisingly Battlefield 3. Most pleasingly, it was recently revealed how we'd get to play Brink multiplayer on the PC, and that's via cost free dedicated servers! The official statement from Splash Damage follows.....

But, with Battlefield: Bad Company 2's imminent release just 15 hours away, I wanted to make sure everyone who hasn't played yet gets a crash course on how it all works. Sit down, strap in, and pay attention - but note that the commentary does contain some swearing...

Downloads of the Battlefield: Bad Company 2 demo have eclipsed 2 million. That's a lot of players, and that's just the demo on the PlayStation Network and Xbox LIVE Marketplace - PC beta users are not included.

To help get even more of you into the action, DICE have followed Rebellion's lead and released a demo tutorial trailer which outlines how the game should be played. It certainly can be a bit confusing initially at least, so with any luck this will help new players hit the ground running, quite literally....
