Early October, I will hopefully be switching to iiNet Broadband. $79.95 a month for 512/128k ADSL, 10,000MB onpeak, and 6,000 offpeak. I am interested in finding out more about their webspace deal thing. On that plan, does anyone know what I get? 30Mb webspace I know - but what about bandwidth? It doesn't say. I am thinking it's http://members.iinet.net.au/username. Is that the username I sign up with? Or is it another one? There website is utterly crap, and doens't explain enough. Please, someone help :)

Well if its anything like the way optus do it, then it will be the username you sign up with.

amph, I dont use them however I have heard nothing but GOOD reports from mates of mine in Regional Victoria.
Huge Cap limits, like the one you posted..........damn thats good :)

iinet pretty good from what i hear, this is the plan im on at the moment for a comparison with about the same price

im on that exact plan, and so far i have had 12 mins downtime - in total
it happened coz one thing went down an no-one could authorize, only 12 mins to fix - bloody brilliant

I just received an email today letting me know my application for DSL with iinet was successful, so I've ordered a modem in from Victoria, should take a week to arrive.
I'm on the same 512k plan, but you can exceed those bandwidths significantly, according to other iinet members on Whirlpool; others have reported downloading 30 gigs, using the free P2P downloading between dsl providers in NT and SA (which are both considered free downloads to NT iinet users).

iinet why do u piss me off so. Im trying to dl generals patch atm and im getting 9 - 10 kb/Sec the whole dl and it dose that for every thing. my bro gets beter dl rate than me he gats about 25 if i remember propper. WHY DO I DL SOOOOOOOOO SLOW :?:

It's now 16 gigs peak, 16 gigs offpeak for that plan =D
For an extra ten bucks per month you can get 1500/256 DSL with iiNet, albeit with only 10 gigs + PIPESA downloads.

New plans = is good! I just got an ADSL connection (256+) last Tuesday and got the connection up yesterday. I checked the toolbox and saw what I thought was an error. 8GB's peak 8GB's off peak. I went to Iinet and looked at their plans and realised they'd been updated. Awesome value.
