Hey guys, a mate and i are startin a business, basically just building systems and servicing to start with but want to move into network installation/config and cant for the life of us think of a decent name. we want something cool cuz we want our systems to be with a "for gamers by gamers" vibe. any ideas would really be appreciated guys
Thanks

only one problem for aiming for the gamers market

99% of the gamers build thier own systems and also know where to get the cheapest parts.

Anyways, how does "Gamers Systems " sound

HeadShot Nerds?
Gamers Own?

Excellent examples of what names they do not want, Smiddy. :)

I think if you want to make money, dont aim at the nerds, as P-Air already said, they already know where to go for basic prices. Aim for the "what is a computer" sorta folk, they dont know what theyre doing, and you could make some good money off their arses.

I've always liked the name 'Packetgain' that Aravi made up awhile ago :D

Post 9

Yeah i should explain a bit more, we want to sell systems to the everyday computer dumbass but want to have a fair bit to do with the gaming community, sponsoring lans, giving away prizes etc and so forth.

Post 18

Packetgain sounds cool for the nerds and doesn't sound stupid for normal people. So it could work :D

Your average non-computer person doesn't understand that "packet" is also used in a computer/networking context.

So for them "packetgain" might be the name of a company which does courier work. Or perhaps a gift shop.

How about "Guru for Gamers" something like that.

Good thing to advertise that will appeal to someone less knowledged looking for a decent system is, "all systems fully tested" so they can see it(and actually do it as well). though u prob know that already

Wait .... "Gamers Gargantuan Warehouse/Computers/etc." Make yourself sound BIG! :)
