ehh i downloaded the new patch for it and ever since that, every game i go in to it keeps going back to the main menu does anyone have this problem too :(

Ok .... here is the solution from the Steam Forums:
The solution to the problem is this. Go to your Steam folder
(C:\Program Files\Steam as an example) and delete the file called "ClientRegistry.blob" then close Steam and reopen it. When you reopen it, it should be updating the platform, if it is going slow, click cancel and reopen steam. The second time should go quicker. Once you do this, the problem is fixed.
By the way this is only a display error and should not affect gameplay. I too experienced this problem after the steam update and once I did this all was well.

Yeah I mean releasing a platform that is great for updates, shit I wish I was perfect too ..
Its like anything.. needs to be updated to fix the bugs.
