CS New Gun model Help please?

You know when you download a new skin, and put it in your cs directory, and play, the new skin is on the left hand side (if your models are right handed) This gets annoying, does anyone know how to fix this problem please? :D

In CS 1.5 there are usually 2 v_ models for each weapon (assuming that the skin you download has both left and right handed models. If there is only one then it is normally a right handed model and you should have no issues with it). Anyway .... one of the files will have an _r in it. If this problem occurs then all I do is just swap the 2 around by renaming them (ie rename the _r one to _l, then add _r to other file and finally delete the _l on the one that you added it to). This has always solved my problems.
