Korea have established themselves as one of the worlds most enthusiastic and active gaming nations in the world, they also happen to be the worlds biggest Blizzard supporters with their main events based around StarCraft and WarCraft III, matches even being broadcast live on national tevelision.
I don't expect to see them cut out of much at all in the future, esspecially when it comes to Blizzard.

its just odd to see anywhere other than north america be included in first round beta openings. in other news, 'rest of the world' beta testing to commence 'later in the year', or something.

for korean gaming, check out Lineage and Lineage 2. those games are fucking HUGE over there with 4 million subscribers for lineage - that leaves eq's half million subscribers for dead.
oh yeah lineage has richard garriot (lord british) on board and there really isn't a bigger name in rpg gaming than his.
