I did the Pre-order through Steam .... $29.95 US .... it's up and running .... just had my first run with it in single player mode .... very cool :lol:

I'm stuck with the huge choice of UT2004 or CS:CZ. Both seem very addicting. Steam told me a week ago that it had downloaded a copy of CZ on my computer. Hmm... although I've reformatted.
I'm downloading those pictures now, thanks.
(Don't get the server converted unless I get Condition Zero 8))
Edit: Er... gg - it's the same as CS, except the levels look a lot better. Same gun models, player models, HUD etc. Yes, I enjoy sequels staying close the originals... but puh-lease...

CS still kicks arse more then CZ, and CZ is based on Half-Life original engine...CS 2 and HL 2 are gonna shit all over that. CZ is to keep us interested until Half-Life 2 and its mods are *finally* released.

sorry to be the damper who actually says something that could be connected to 'illegal activities,' but I like half of the users on this forum probably, have CS: CZ installed but don't have a key, and it's impossible to find one online. Can anyone help?

Im installing Cz now but when you clicked "install cz" did it take you 15 min for the next install window to pop up ? In the center of the cd around the hole there is a raised fault in my cd its like there is a small chip out of it. Would this harm the game in any way ?

Bought CZ today from EB, I must say I'm rather disapointed.

Anyway after installing I was itching to get on steam and play it online. BAM, multiplayer is f*cking CS with some improved features. In the manual it even refers the multiplayer optoin as CS.
It would seem all these new additions and such would only be for single player. Its just not the same versing bots. :(
I think I might have to return this game although the key has been registered, reakon they would notice? :lol:
Enigma: The fault may effect it, cracks and chunks out of CDs can often cause them to explode/shatter in the CD-ROM, at least this is what I have been told. Just go back to where you bought it and exchange it.
As for the thing taking 15 mintues, it only took that long when converting everything to Steam, everything else ran pretty smoothly.

you can download "CZ deleted Scenes" from steam. i will see when i get home but im sure it is the "new models etc. etc." because it is listed under games and would not be a movie. so anyone that bought it get downloading ;)

If you buy it retail you get Deleted Scenes with it as well as a HL2 preview disc. While it has been enjoyable I have quickly grown bored of it. *thinks of refund* :P

I seriously don't see the big hype with CZ... its not like they are totally changing or optimising the way CS is played... its just visual eyecandy for those with high end computers and the same game you played years ago... :?
