I've always loved spiders :) It's good to see they are helping Science. I think they are really advanced creatures though. As scary as they first look, and freaky as they move, they're so cool :)
I just hope they don't have to kill spiders to take advantage of sticker post-it notes.

wow rec you've been reading alot of news and forum post and.....
hey also isn't hair one o the most strongest material, and i heard that spider webs are strong as well im not really sure about it though
Post 4
spider silk is far stronger than hair. its tensile strength is comparable to good steel, and has a much higher tensile strength:density ratio.

ahh i see i see yea i know spider silk is ar stronger but isn't hair all into the catagory of being strong as well cause i mean look at the spiders but i guess there's are diffrent cause the tips are triangle shaped, but how about ours as well?

The strength of the spiders hair matters not.
Its the friction that allows them to stick to surfaces.
In fact, i recall seeing a doco about this very subject. There are some spiders, which have baffled scientists. By most ideals, this one certain spider shouldnt have been able to lift its own legs, as the amount of surface friction it was able to apply, should have been greater than its own strength.
