finalyy ordering my stuff but is the new nvidia 6800 ultra better then the 9800xt? from test scores it is but i thought nvidia had problems or something? also apparently ati is commin with the x800 or something which is ment to own everything? cheers

Nvidia has problems with far cry because far cry still thinks its a Geforce FX, and "optimises" the game for it, making it look like total shit. Apart from that there is something that may or may not be fixed with anisotropic filtering where the level of AF changes depending on what angle you're looking at it (like ATi's AF), this is supposedly just immature drivers. image quality is pretty much the same on both cards, AA works except 8xAA is broken, this also supposedly is just drivers.
X800 Pro will be coming out in 3-4 days (probably) and will see retail availiblilty about a week or two after that (probably :P), but around a month after this they're releasing the X800 XT, which is the same except with 4 more rendering pipelines enabled, giving better performance.
You can't say that the X800 Pro will own the Nvidia card as from whats known about the X800 it looks as though they will give similar performance, but the XT will probably beat the 6800.
6800 is meant to be availible 45 days after launch (april 14th), so some time around the start of June you should be able to buy it.

The FarCry patch (released some weeks ago) apparently fixes the Nvidia issues

Basically the 6800 is better till you start pumping up the AA and AF :P
