I'm off again... most of you are probably getting tired of me bouncing between Darwin and Adelaide by now, but it's about to happen again.

I'm heading off to Adelaide until end of year, at which point I'll either be making a move back to Darwin or over to Queensland for work, or to Sydney to study at NIDA.

I'm expecting to leave within the first week of July, and while there won't be any unhinged over-the-top party before I go, if anyone does want to have a drink and make a night of it, you can catch me in town on the 26th of June (Saturday night).

So are you seriously looking at acting as a career with this NIDA training rec?
NIDA seems like a pretty elite drama institution from what I have heard and for you to go to NIDA, you must have more than just a serious interest in drama.
Good luck to you mate. With all these hobbies you at least have something to fall back onto if something falls though :)

I played the roll of a stupid, and consequently clumbsy police officer in the play that Jay saw - as you can imagine, I slipped right into the character.

The part was initially a much more serious one, and a tiny one. I developed the character and his involvement in the script. My teacher was quite pleased with my ideas, so I ended up being one of the main characters.

I'm going to NIDA to develop whatever it is that I already have, with the hope of a golden opportunity down the line. Whether I end up at NIDA next year or in five, it doesn't bother me - it's something that I will end up doing, it's something that I have to do. Why waste potential?

I feel I've developed a lot as a person over the past few years, and the traits and qualities that develop with growth will only ever help you excel in the direction that they point. For me I think it's definately something that rides hand in hand with being able to move people, a smile, a laugh... and entertainment such as the silver screen is a perfect medium to do it.

The option for giving this a shot isn't one that will expire... acting isn't a body sport, you can never be too old to jump on stage or behind a camera.

I never had an interest in performing, I've always had a passion for it.
