i want a new mobile but sick of nokia phones but will get one if i can't find one of equal or better quality and value, atm i'm looking at the LGu8110..... http://www.three.com.au/index.cfm?pid=2204&pageid=2366 , seem to be preety good.

While the 7250i isn't a bad phone, it's Sony Ericsson rival, the T610 and T630 are far superior with higher quality images at higher resolutions, bluetooth capability and higher poly ringtones. I also think for the technology literate crowd, it is a far more powerful phone in terms of software and GUI.
The P800 is an absolutely brilliant phone, and thanks to it's successor the P900, you can pick them up as cheap as $500 from Ebay now. They are chunky phones, but if size isn't an issue for you, there is simply nothing better for the price (retail, you're going to be spending that much for a 7250i or T630 anyway, which pale in comparison).
I'd personally steer clear of LG - they're generally good, reliable and feature packed phones, but are still relatively unsupported and haven't made any dramatic impact on the market at this stage; LG is simply recycling current ideas and technology rather than trying something new.
I now have a Nokia 6230, which is the first phone Nokia has released in quite some time that has really given Sony a knock. The Sony P800/P900 blows the Nokia 6600 out of the water, the T610/T630 gives it to the 7250i and so on -- Sony have just released their K700i, a brilliant phone, but finally Nokia have come back to put up a real fight, and the only reason I'd choose the 6230 over the K700i is because it's memory is expandable, where as the Sony doesn't take SD memory cards.
The Nokia 6260 is simply brilliant, I'm contimplating grabbing one myself, however the 1mp camera on that 7610 is really, really attractive (regardless of how strange the phone looks). Keeping in mind the next generation of mobiles will be boasting cameras with as much as 4mp.
