I was reading in this months issue of PCPP that Alienware have realeased a motherboard that supports 2 video cards in the one PC. It has PCI Express and looks awesome!
The only downside is that they arent avaliable in Aust.

The theory is good :p
Dunno if I like the idea of Alienware doing it thought :p
Also wouldn't really get to excited until some good benchmarks are done on the machine.
I'd wait until nvidia and intel bring out there chipsets with support for SLI before diving into it. Plus you still gotta factor in the cost of 2 cards. Your also better off waiting until ATi respond to see what they are going to do about SLI, and the SLI performance will probably be improved by this time as well.
