Basically I'm just looking for a computer to run alot of the new games coming out, any one got a spare one lying around? Interested in Mobo, CPU (AMD or Intel), HDD, DDR Ram...
Thanks.
P.S. At the moment I can barely run CS 1.5

hey, i know your looking for a second hand computer... but if u wanted to run all the new games *and even the newer ones that want to come out* wouldn't you want to buy a NEW computer... it would most probably cost you an extra ..... $400 more??? but atleast that way you would get warranty
$400 is alot for some ppl
i have been jipped with 2nd hand stuff where it doesn't work.. i then lose all my money *because some are skungy ****ers*
so basically.. if u want a 2nd computer..... your probably looking at around........ $800
if some of those items don't work ... for instance ... your 9800 pro which you paid $200 dies after 1 month.... you gotta fork out another $200 ... which equates to "000
however, if you buy new, you get 1 year warranty with most items...
but ... $400 is alot to people... i admit that ... sorry.. just placing my thoughts
if you only get a 1 year warranty with a system, get your system from somewhere else.
thanks for all of ur concerens(dont know how to spell lol) but all i need is a motherboard that will work and some more ram, then later down the track when i get some more money i will get a proceesor so its gonna take me a while cause i work at abowling alley and it sux.........no money in it, ne how i would mosty likely get everything new and get the one year warrenty and then i will be able to play some ganes cause at the moment i cant even play Half life:(
dbombdotcom, You're better off saving up and buying it all at once then buying piece by piece. As technology improves, older hardware consistently comes down in price - so if you buy it all in one go you'll be getting more for your money then buying individual parts that you can't use right now.
yeh he has apoint...i fell for that trick......it can be rather frustrating
if the bowling alley is s**t then go look for another job
ok then i will do that, oh and neotheo i am getting a new job and it should be soon. or i might just go for auststudy they might give more money (i hope)
thanks for that guys, :D i hope to see u guys soon at ne lans or somthing
