For all of you that don't know and want to get involved with HL2 and CS : Source there are all sorts of stories around about how to get ,will i have to buy etc etc
heres the short of it to play Counter Strike Source Beta (1 map only De_dust) unless latest beta map packs are installed u must own a copy of Condition Zero or be a HL2 voucher owner.
to play the beta it will appear in your games list of your steam logon ready to be preloaded and consectutively played through steam.
People are misconcieved and confused with all the versions of CS out there and is hard to get right. If u do not own CZ or are not an ATI voucher holder then u will have to wait till HL2 is available to buy where you can then recieve CS : Source full version as the multiplayer side of HL2
this is what i know so far pretty much the rest is rumour as the release date for HL2 is not official its also preloading through steam so the release is around end of this month.
