No, because i dont want it to block pop ups. I will close a window if i dont want it open.
go.icq.com for example, requires a pop up window, which IE blocks every single fking time.
I can find no options in IE for pop blocking, hence why im asking :)
Im not going to ad every Domain i want to recieve pop ups from, into the acceptions list.

Use Mozilla or Firefox like any right-minded individual, and it will block pop-ups web-wide, bar the sites you define as exceptions.

The new update to IE does the same thing........but as Knight said....Tools ---> Popup Blocker ---> Turn Off Popup Blocker

Option 1: Open all popups
Option 2: Open all popups in background
Option 3: Block unwanted popups
Option 4: Block all popups
You can get those options (third is the best, popups won't come up unless you specifically click on a link to open one) by upgrading your browser.

perhaps the yahoo toolbar is responsible for your popup blocking.

I dont recall installing sp2 on my machine.....and yet IE seems to have updated itself...gg windows.
Still dont know how to stop popups being blocked mind you.
And yes, my system is very stable :)

A lot of stuff tries to automatically installit for you....you probably accidently clicked OK to shut it up one time and that's what you were clicking OK to, LOL

firefox is gay....i used it and it dodnt block any popups....and yes, popup blocking was enabled.
IE is so much easier to configure and on SP2 it is really good, and the popup blocker actually works

You cant be serious. I have yet to be bogged down by popups in both Mozilla and Firefox. Mozilla/Firefox over IE anyday buddy.

i've been using mozilla since about version 0.8, and haven't seen an unrequested popup since then. that's at least two years with no popups. congratulations to ie for finally catching up.

safari, internet explorer, firefox, mozilla, netscape navigator?
Answer: Internet explorer - the others are web browsers while IE is a conduit for hackers with browsing on the side

I've had so many less problems since changing over to firefox and it automatically imports your favorites and settings from Internet Explorer so there is no hassles getting started
