World OF WARCRAFT

Any day, they will bring out the free beta... once that happens i will be playing 24/7 for as long as possible... i was wondering if GU was wanting to go the same race so we can talk to each other. To make it easier, we mainly have to go 'alliance' or the 'horde'. Perferably, i would like to go the 'alliance' which comprises of human, gnome, dwarf and Night elf. However, if heaps of people want to go the Horde, i will change to an evil race.

How many people from GU are expected to play in the Beta and then when it comes out to the store?

Also, how many of you lucky barstards are playing it now?

There won't be a Aussie sever on release most of us will be on one of the west coast severs.

I'm planning to go horde with my guild.

if its anything else like warcraft 3... there will be 2 servers in america, 1 in korea and 1 in ... somewhere else... *azeroth* ...

most people will be on the west... basically... when u buy the game.. i believe 'west' or whatever server with the best ping, thats the server u will be given default. i don't think that just makes sence. Alwellz

as for me... ill prob go Night elf with either healing and shit.. or something else... havnt decided.. ill decide in beta

and the servers are set up all in the US and there are some on eastern, western, southern, and central. there are two dozen i would say. or "realms". and yes brownie...you do know f uck all.

first aid is on most part a muckaround skill. heal by itself is good enough.

Better off just having a pally / priest in your group who can heal / res.

and knight, i get up to 700ms lag on adsl :P

yeah but its not the ping time but the bandwith in which the information is coming through.

It is when he gets 999 pings out and disconnected :P

Also, open beta is going to be crazy.
Im so glad im in the final stress test, i can get my mining levels up, before all the mining sites are camped out by the thousands of OB players that will rock up in the first week. By then, i should be off mining silver and shit in places unknown to the noobies :D

you don't have to have a file planet subscription... You can get it from www.blizzard.com when it is out.

You need a fileplanet subscription for the Stress test.

What a load of crap. First aid rocks. It might be muck around at level 10, but over 100 and the healing materials are kicking arse.

I think what he means is, is that its redundant if your character has healing abilities, or if your friends/party members have healing abilities. and in that respect he's right ;)

But yeh after level 15+ the healing properties become very handy for solo warriors.
Im just lucky that vorly is a level 27/28 Human priest, who can make me heal potions :)
