I keep losing Line Sync on my ADSL at home, and its either the line itself, or the modem. its a pain in the arse every 5 minutes it just dies, but comes back up straight away :/ but most when playing WoW or any MMORPG they become more frequent because of the use of the line by those types of games.
anyone got any ideas? or got a spare modem i can use for a day or two?

Are you using an extension lead to get from the modem to the phone line ? If so try replacing the cable, i have had similar problems and doing that cleans her right up. Also post what your modem is if its a router try upgrading firmware. Also what location are you in ?
Brinkin, yes ive tried swaping cables :) the firmware upgrade is a good idea ill try that
Also make sure phone cable is firmly seated in the modem and filter.
but firmware shouldnt do it, if it has just started happening
Sounds more like the prob i had where, my wall junction was farked, i just changed where i plusgged into the wall, and all was good
