Its subscription...costs "5 US a month so its like $5 a week Aussie. This is good in the respect that 1) Its not really expensive...its $5, yay and 2) It gets rid of 99% of the idiots...nd the 1 percent that are there are generally Paladins Ive noticed :p

Yeah I would, except there's the cost and there's also things like time. As much as I do have since I'm not working now, but time that does not exist in a month's time. :(

Is it generally worth it? Cos it's $99.95, and then plus all that? That's an expensive game. I'm also gonna buy HL2 - I hear MMORPG's are good though, so I should try it atleast.
What about lag issues and that? I've got a 512k connection through iiNet, it's very fast.

It an excellent game Amph....
No doubt about it, total package wise its the best MMO on the market atm.
Given that a 99 buck single player game gives you 15-35 hours of play.
This will give you thousands :)

Yep, definately agree with coco there.
Currently a level 40 Warrior, with a horsey YAY!
When i hit 60, im doing it all again with another character class, and another and another :P
So much content in this game, so many quests and alot of nice people!

I played on dialup for 2 weeks. I normally play on 1.5mb ADSL. I noticed no difference. Literally.

play on proudmore, node has guild based there for horde and alliance, 100 odd members for alliance, like 4th biggest on the server or sumhing.
i got lv 28 NE druid, lv 16 Human Warlock, lv 9 Human Paladin
cant wiat for lv 30 on druid, travel form is gonna mke life so much nicers :D

it's not $99 for thousands of hours, its $99 for your initial month of enjoyment (potentially far more than 35 hours worth), and a minimal fee for continued enjoyment thereafter (still cheaper than a new game every month). i'm not bagging the subscription model, i'm actually a fan of it, and am happy to continue paying for a game that continues to provide enjoyment long after the time most have been forgotten.

for 3 months subscription its about $52. so "40 for unlimited play for 3 months. and itll take a normal person a good 4 to 5 months to get to level cap. granted its possible to get there in like a month but people that do that have been playing the game for almost a year now.
and with battlegrounds starting up. i can tell you that pvping will be so much ****ing fun. as it is now its alot of fun. but getting to high lvls its hard :(

Yeah my description was a bit shoddy...but you get the absic idea. As for gamecards, CC is cheaper, and if ur not over 18, go get a debit card attached to ur savings....same as I do, solves that problem.
