Hello all. I'm new to town (Darwin) and looking to see what gaming there is here. (Computer, Wargaming, Roleplaying [Pen and paper]).

What's this board about? Just computer games? Just Darwin people?

Been playing Dungeons and Dragons for many years... MANY years :)

Any clubs/groups etc?

Cheers.

Welcome!

Well I was from Darwin myself for the better part of 7 years, been here at GU for about 4+ years now. The forum is by no means for just Darwin people, there are plenty of interstate people here also.

This board is a place for gamers, such as yourself to meet others and discuss anything related, and of course to make friends :p

Seeing as your from Darwin you may like to take a look at http://www.darwingamers.org There should be plenty of information on the site for you to get an idea of what its about.

As for whats being played, i'll leave that up to someone else as i've been on holiday for the last couple of months and really have lost track of whats the go.

Enjoy ;)

Yeah, I heard about that meeting, at the Bridge Club in Leanyer. I hope to get out there one Sunday. I am staying in the city and have no transport at this stage.

There are lots of games that we all play on the internet and at the LANS. And not just one genre. If there's a game you like out there - chances are, a dozen people play it here as well. The more popular ones being WoW & CS: S.

Gamers-Underground forums are a great source and help. I get 50% of my information from here and all the forums are well worth looking out (excluding clan forums :P) There's always some ner... er, one who can help with a hardware/software problem too :)
