Good luck with the search as the Darwin rental market atm is on fire. Its is a Landlords market. (I rub my hands and give a deep Howie laugh.)
Seriuosly, to get a good place at a reasonable price you may have to look to Palmerston, then if it is within the adsl limits.
Or share a flat at nightcliff on the foreshore.

Believe me you never want to live in a house with four other flat mates. Its insane. Try to keep to three people in total at the most. Or it will be a Mad House :P

Good luck with the quest. Unfortunately I am too broke and settled to contemplate moving. A lot of my friends have moved into city apartments, which is annoying, because they're expensive to visit and I couldn't afford the rent if I wanted to!
