Wow! There actually might be one. ^_^

Post 2

w00t...LBH was my first LAN experience, rocked, would love to see another one. Count me in if u need help :D

Post 3

May i ask where this LAN would be held?

Thnx :)

Post 4

I think a more appropriate question would be when... How about the mid year holidays?

Where... I don't know. ^_^ Preferably however, NOT the Fosk. It's not a bad place, however, I'd prefer to have it in the city more. I'm thinking I'd like to have it somewhere in a large conference area of some type. I don't know yet.

Post 5

Carlton, surely for old times sake...oops, Holiday Inn.

Yeah, I know about parking issues, but it sure was a fun venue.

Post 6

who is organising this?

Post 7

*moves lamp to shine in Steves eyes*

Who is it, mister? Ve have vays oft making you talk!

Post 8

Same person who organised Biohazard 1 - and I must say, you did an excellent job with that.

Post 9

I'll be organising this one this time. Unlike last time however, I'll be trying to do most of the work instead of letting TN1 and EOS do it all. I was thinking Carlton as well, for old times sake. It really is a nice venue, plus it's got the tables supplied. May be a little expensive, but everything will be more programmed... Naturally I'll employ the help of some people for it too. ^_^

I'll make it what Biohazard 1 should have been.

Post 10

Count me in !

Post 11

You can count me in for any support/setting up/whatever you need

Post 12

same here... You can count me in for any .. Drinking, Smoking, DC'in, etc..
I will attend this little function, :D

Post 13

biohazard was my first LAN I went to. Count me in :)

Post 14

Can anyone attend this LAN or only original Biohazard gamers?....If so what will be the limit?

Post 15

Anybody can attend. As for limit. I'll have to work that out when I inspect it.

The original goals of BioHazard was actually to be more a friendly place where enthusiasts can get together, probably more then a LAN. At least, that's what it ended up being. Everybody crowded around on the last day, talking, and eating and drinking with ironically not much gaming going on. Times changed a fair bit, but I'd like it to be an opportunity for people to take the chance to go up to other people and say 'G'day, who are you?' and not looked at oddly.

Post 16

will be there, give me that dates and venue when ready......also available for setup if needed

Post 17

Thanks for the info....I hope I'm not working when Biohazard evolves. Look forward to a friendly type get to know you LAN.....see you there.

Post 18

No one knows me, nor do i know any1 here, (cept a couple of people) but i will help in anyway possible if u guys need me. So, let me know :)

Post 19

I remember you originally planned to get hold of some nitrogen, and see how far you could overclock a (whatever was the processor of the day)....

Post 20

Yep... That's something I'm planning this time around as well... Now that I have an income.

Post 21

NO!

EDIT: I want a good L series lense... That won't cost me more then 1000 bucks.

Post 23

good luck with the carlton. they dont allow overnighters anymore. because someone held one there and it got unruly or somthing, the place i think you should look at is the chan building, 200 a night for the whole thing. the only problem is that you need some kind of 3 phase distribution, which isnt soo hard to hire. ill be there for setup, whatever. if you want more info on the chan building pm me and ill see what i can dig up for ya

Post 24

We never had 3 phase in the Carlton - just a shit load of 240V outlets that were sensibly distributed.

Post 25

With the exception of one power point, I don't remember the Carlton being at all bad with the power. C'mon guys, some of you found it exciting, admit it! It added an extra dimension to LAN gaming...
I'm winning I'm winning! DAMN! No power!

;) that location was one of my best spots for a LAN, in the city and close to all major food outlets.

Post 27

Is there a time frame on this ??

Do you require any help??

Post 28

i never said nething bbout 3 phase at the carlton... read it again

I know you didn't - you were saying that the only problem with the other place you were suggesting is that we would need to get three phase from somewhere.

To which I stated that we never needed three phase at the Carlton.

Is that clear enough....

;-) (I wonder why there is a cursor in the blank space above...)

Post 30

YEAH OK *bleeeeeep*

the problem with the carlton is that they dont offer overnight anymore... forgive me for trying to help
XAINE GO DIE IN ****ING HELL!!! C O C K S U CKING ASSWIPE.

Post 31

one day, you might actually learn to stay behind the line. BOTH of you are offering constructive advice, and then you turn it into this? there's no need for name calling, certainly, and if you're going to take to heart criticism like that, you need to visit the smiddy-bin.

Post 32

agreed recieving advice is first step to greater understanding of things :)

(count me in steve you know i wont miss 1 of your lans :P when next lan at your joint)
Just please dont have it at the greek school that place shits me i feel so degraded being there.

Post 33

Wasnt it at steves lan that i had the issue with 2 power supply being inside my computer case and during the lan i pulled the cable out and shorted 240 volts into my computer case resulting in sparks flying everwere about 12 oclock at night?

ahhh and the 40 fans inside my case at the same time. the good old days.

Post 34

Guys, it probably won't be at the Carlton, what with their new rules and such. HOWEVER... I'll strive to make sure that the same feeling is achieved as at the original. Biohazard 2 will be better then the first.

Post 35

nah chad that was at Landed :D lol.

I remember sitting next to that fkn thing.
Felt like i was sitting next to a jet engine all night.

Post 37

hahaha was loud enough :| might aswell go to the airport and stand right next to a jet engine :|

Post 38

Well it was stylish you had to agree, no-one has attempted somthing that stupid in a long time. Oh wait... I remember going down south and was at a lan party, one of the chaps there had a water system. Half way though the night is started leaking water onto his motherboard. Man you should of seen the light show inside his case!

Long storie behind the case with 40 mini fans in it. Suprising that computer system still runs today, but any type of bump on the desk will send it into blue screen of death. Still cannot figure out why?

Post 39

Hey would be pretty cool to have it at the casino LOL

Meh *wishing* hahahaha

Post 40

Yeah what the hell is the blue screen of death for? I get it ever now and again and yeah it bloody peisez meh off!!
it would be to hard to get all the sheit in to the lan if we held it in a caseno, yeah great aircon great servouse but thatd't be for the chanmionships or sum rich little boy who seeks perfection. : P

Post 41

Ahh, Biohazard. Definately one of the best lans of all time. And I was sitting next to this dude (forget who) who was selling red-eyes at $2 a pop... I had sooo many... aaaaaaAAAAAaaaaaAAAAAAaaaaaAAAAaaaaaAAAaaaaaahhhhhhhh.....!

Much fun. :D

... PS, woah. Thread necro. I didn't realise how old this thread *was*. Doesn't anyone post here?

Post 42

Not at the moment, but I'm working on it still.
