World XI will win, we dont have glenn mcgrath and we all know the australia team revolves around him atm.

ahh well hopefully be a close game this time around,.

Post 2

After the Victorian (bloody hopeless mexiacans) debacle with crowd numbers, they'll need a World win to ensure they get more cash for game 3.

rofl I think you will find they dropped Mc Grath from the side to gauge the young up and coming talent before the real matches start and Mc Grath gets injured and they need new bowling selections.

Looks like the new guys did a good job. Too bad Sangakara did a suicide single. He was batting super well and if he kept his calm could have hit 100. Watch for him in the 3rd.
I like all the big hitting going on and the 7-8 an over stuff. If I was in Melbourne I'd go to the 3rd for sure.

WD to our openers for setting us up for a great start, and for the middle order for keeping it going. great innings with the bat.

poor lara got no where again, i really wanna see him put on a show cause i dont think he will be around much longer. hopefully sunday he will perform.

Hah - not bloody likely. 4/48? I give this game another half hour tops.

Post 15

absolutely loved the game

we got there and our tickets were on ground level. was sitting only 10-15 metres from where akhtar was fielding, my god he copped a lot of abuse

game was frickin awesome, ended up going to the very top level, where there were empty front row seats.

got smashed on beer and enjoyed the best live sport ive ever seen.
