Sorry Brownie - Dell Inspiron 9300, same configuration as above, except HDD is 100G 5400rpm, GFX is GF6800go (256M), 17" WUXGA 1920x1200 display, and CPU is a 2G Pentium M.
Price? $2749 delivered.
(Well, you said to let you know!)
To be fair, Dell prices change on a weekly basis - so that same configuration will probably jump back up to its RRP of $3699 in another week.
Edited to include the extra configuration that was removed from your edit ;-)
No - delivery is free (well, probably built into the price - there's no extra delivery fee).
BTW, I was only shit-stirring - I realise that your price is cheaper, because it doesn't fluctuate on a week-by-week basis (which is why I included Dell's proper RRP without discounts in the price).
I don't have any friends - and with that, I'll stop hijacking your thread :-)
BTW, 6600go is not a gaming card for serious gamers - I suggest you put the original configuration back in that you started with, as that is far better value for money imo.

Lets catch up Xaine.....My 9300 is on its way....... And Brownie i will pass anyone on to you with your Laptops that price is no longer at Dell so yes you are cheep.......
People, if you are seriously in the market for a **gaming** laptop - you cannot go past this price. So you can compare apples with apples, a typical 3dMark05 score for one of these (going off my own scores, with similar specs) is around the 4200 to 4400 mark. That's better than a lot of systems still being brought to DGAs.
I've only just clicked to the fact that the processor is a Pentium M - most laptops built for gamers use a desktop P4 processor, which means they are hot as hell (literally!) with next to no battery time.
You will typically get 2 hours (6 cell battery) to 3 hours (9 cell battery) out of this - although if you are after a gaming laptop, then I suspect that you (like me) don't really give a rat's about squeezing the most out of your battery anyway.
