I rember seeing a lost dog poster for an alaskan malamute, and I saw one wandering round my street today, so its now in my house, drinking alot of water and making my dogs jealous....
Went I went to find the poster for it, it was gone..... dang nabbit
So does anyone know of a family that has lost a big freindly happy alaskan malmute.....

I saw that poster as well... I can't remember where though, I think Nightcliff shopping centre.
Ring up the RSPCA, the owners would have most probably given them a call to make sure the dog hadn't been handed in. They should have a record of their name and number if they called up.
Also most dogs now days, specially expensive breeds like that one have been microchipped, take them to a vet or the rspca again and they can find the owner that way.
there can't be too many of them in darwin, sweet looking dog though. i'd say RSPCA is your best bet too. or ring the council, they might keep a list on people with lost pets, and like i said its probably a rare breed up here.
Yeah, I am taking it down to the vet later on, just right now its waaaay to hot for it to go outside....

whoa!!!!!! oi brain, just wait a few hours, this person down the road from me has a dog that looks like that, dunno if she has it still but she hasnt takin it for a walk in ages and she use to take it for a walk every day, maybe its her dog, ill find out, cuz i havnt seen her taking it for a walk anymore lately
I have found the dogs owner, went to the vet and got its chip read.
The vet called em and left my number on the machine, but still no response yet...
awww, I was gonna eat 'em ;)

I've got 2 dogs and a cat, all chipped. Glad to see the technology gets put to use when they need it
My malamute probably silly enough to get himself lost the same way :S
