whats the lowest you'll consider

$500 ONO - ( Or nearest Offer) sure Jamie could tell you all this.

However make him an offer. and then he will consider.

Post 4

I have an offer for $450 already. They're still retailing for quite a hefty amount, and the card is only young.

Post 5

If he offered $450 offline he can have it man. there a ripe off online for a new card. The X1800 is cheeper then the X850. i like radeon but the problem is further down the track when i might go sli.

I just know the above post is going to get deleted, so I'll chuck in my 2c worth while I can.

How is this a "ripe"-off for a card that is still selling for $700 and up?

And where do you get that the X1800 is "cheeper" than the X850? Linkage? Shit, I'll buy one tomorrow if that's the case.

Finally, this is a Trading Post.

(and with that hypocritical post, I'll hand the thread back to you, rec ;) - BTW, if this post crosses the boundaries as well - seeing as it is the Trading Post - please delete).

The X850 XT PE is actually damn hard to find in physical Australian retailers. As far as I can see, there are none in SA or NT. You're forced to purchase it online, and the average price is around $765.

The X1800 XT is hitting the Australian market at around $920. And there's no need to SLI an X1800 in the conventional sense, it's called "Crossfire" which provides a similar solution. Do some research.

rec is right hey, 500 is still a ****ing steal for this card. and the x1800 is not cheaper than this :/ maybe the XL version.. .

Now Now people. its not doing much for the look of the sale. lets not get angry at eachother :)

The price is fine. usually you take off 20% for 2nd hand goods. cheapest i found was about $590. so $450 is a good price :)
