I've hooked up my PC to my TV via S-Video. Problem is the display on the TV keeps flicking or moving every 5 seconds or so.
Video Card: 9800XT
TV: Panasonic 76cm
Didn't do this on my 51cm so I'm guessing it's something to do with my TV. Any one know whats goin on?

do u really wanna use a tv? god, in css i can barely see my freakin crosshair and i can barely see enemies, im gunna buy a High Definition TV soon though
id say though, have u got the latest ATI drivers? may be a problem with the lower versions but it also could be your TV. But then again, it could be refresh rate like Rec minorci said
Also try some different PAL settings. There are usually a heap of different types to choose from. I can't remember which is the best for AUS

I plug my PC into my TV so I can watch movies, much bigger screen and much better for movies.
PAL is 50Hz
NTSC is 60Hz
Thats about as much as I know...
ATI have different PAL settings. PAL M and PAL N are aparently for brazil and argentina. PAL B/G/D/K/I are for Europe, Australia and New Zealand. I think I used to use PAL B or G
Thanks guys for the replies. I have checked the refresh rates, the PAL settings, resolutions etc. Everything is how it should be, even now i've tried it with different settings and still nothing. I got an S-video to AV adapter and still continues to do it so my guess is it's coming from the PC side of things. I have this funny feeling WindowBlinds has something to do with this - seeing as it tampers or something with the shell.
Edit: Tried uninstalling WindowBlinds but seeing as it was a, errr, "trial" version ;) it didn't have its own uninstaller and remains to run with the OS. Will try a fresh install of Windows tomorrow, lets hope this works!
Sorry to revive a dead thread but I figured I'd post my solution. You know, just in case it happens to someone else.
A new install of Windows did not work so at the time I gave up. Wasn't untill a day before the EVO I installed the latest Catalyst drivers from Omega (I was originally using drivers from ATI) that it stopped doing it. So it would seem to be a driver issue. Anyhow, extremly happy, now I can enjoy flicker free entertainment :D
