I dunno whether you guys track anywhere outside of World of Warcraft, but the expansion to EQ2 just came out (Desert of Flames or something) and it's a standalone game. It includes EQ2, plus more stuff in it. It's about $50 and then $20 a month (Australian dollars). When you buy the game, you get a free 7 day trial for a friend (which is what I'm using right now). The game seems up to good standards, but it's a bit of a resource hog.

Eqaddik (Chris) and I have played a bit, but because I am still low level, it's difficult at this stage.
I am doing crafting so if you join Najena, I will be able to make you some good low level stuff to get you going.
9th level is a couple of hours work so you should join Najena. I am an Outfitter and so specialise in Weapons and Armour, so if you make a tank toon, I will be able to kit you out with good stuff up until you are about 15th level.
You would get to a level pretty quickly where it would be worth us adventuring together.

Are there game time cards available for this game? If so I might be interested in starting to play... only catch is I'd only ever be able to play at velocity (until I can afford a new pc) :D

Ah gasming. I used to gasm quite a bit as a youngster.
Just don't seem to have the time for good hard gasm these days.

I will start a new Cleric if you want to start playing. What do you like playing? Ranged Combat? Melee? Blastee Magic? Having a "pet" fight for you? Healing and Buffing a party?
Haha well I have the actual game now. Got it for Christmas - best Christmas present I got. I am now level 19 :) It'll be a while til I start a new character, can I have characters on different servers though?

My suggestion to u, is restart on najena, that way i and batt cna help u out alot more, and for the fact its the un-official aussie server, where just about every guild/raid guils is part aussie/full aussie. but alas its ur choice :) and yes, u can make upto 8 characters, and each of them can be on a completely different server..

Hmm, to me u sound like..a Ranger! lol, there DPS (damage per second) in mele combat is pretty dman good, but ther ereal DPS can and does come from Bows, ther efor mele/range character = ranger would be the sugestion here, but if u get the agro, and ur fighting a mob a couple lvls higher then u, say good bye :) ranger do not get pets how ever, if u wnat to be a pet class, go either a conjurer or necromancer, if u wnat to be pure DPS go a wizard for castrers, and dirge/assasin for mele dps.
I think i'll definately have a ranger as they are definately one of my favs. I was reading the site though and to start I might just become a fighter and eventually make my way up to Guardian :) Defensive style sounds like me and that is a wicked label to have :D Jamie the Guardian HAHAHA!

ive been playing on the neriak server since the game has been released but because of the timezone difference i cannot get into a raiding guild so i will be creating a toon tonight on najera.
my mate has created his toon on najera last weekend, he is a lvl 16 predator, think his name is "hackand"
ill try to get my toon up to 15 but the weekend so we can all get a group going :)
