Here are some of the things that are differnt to the main servers.
Changing class at levels 20 and 40
You used to have to do a quest that took about 3 days.
Now just port to Hardins Academy
Go inside the cave and speak to Trader Woodrow
CLick on the first buy option and all the quest items will appear.
At level 20 you need 1, if you read them it tells you what thye do, at level 40 you need 3, they cost nothing so worst case buy em all and change class and junk the rest.
You can also buy enchant scrolls from this trader.
Armour and jewellery can be safely be enchanted to +4 past that they have a chance to blow up and you are left with a bunch of crystals that you just sell to the shop.
Weapons start blowing up at about a 50% chance at +4, there doesnt seem to be any rhyme or reason to it. I've had 5 weapons in a row blow up at +4 but then the same nite I took two weapons straight to +15.
Just dumb luck, normally I try and get several weapons at +4 before going for +5 etc
PVP
Happens a LOT, you will get pk'd, people WILL ask you to fight most of the time :P
PVP is consentual fighting where you are both hitting each other and both turn purple, the winner turns white after 20 secs, the looser dies and normally returns back to town, you CANNOT drop items to another player if your purple. However if a mob/creature kills you you can. But you get heaps of cash in this game.
PK
PK is where you kill someone without them fighting back, you go red when you pk people and have to workoff the bad karma to go white again by killing creatures or just dying, when you get over 5 PK's on your char you have a high chance to explode like a pinata if someone kills you while you are red.
You will drop a lot of stuff. But if someone is annoying you and doesnt take the hints, just kill him.
Money
Money is reallyeasy in this game, even simple materials like coal sell for millions, you do need materials in the end game but if you need some quick cash sell em. The cap for money in this game is 2.1 billion, go over it and it resets to 1 :P
Levelling areas
1-10 whereever you started
10-20 north east of gludio
Goto Hardins and buy your class quest item
Goto Gludio and talk to your Guildmaster to change class
20-25 East of Dion
25-35 Exe ground east of Dion
35-40 Death Pass north of Giran
40-44 Fettered souls west of Hardins
44+ Whereever you want.
You can't get banned for swearing I believe, even being racist but there are probably limits.
70% of the server doesnt speak english...makes it very interesting when you get called a dog mother humping **** fag by a mexican :P
Buffs can be bought from people sitting down at DVC, normal costs 1-2 mil but you will level twice as fast, once you hit 40 i'd start getting buffs.
Healing pots, hastepost and windwalk pots can all be bought from Hardins and Trader woodrow, make sure yuo have 50 of each on average
There are no D grade Armour sets, you can buy all C grade and above from the shops.
To unseal your B grade armour to get the bonuses teleport to Heine and speak with the trader of mammon, same with A grade
