Teams will be battling it out for the number one position here in the NT. Teams will consist of 5 players per side, with upto one reserve player allowed. Finalised competition structures will be released closer to the event, as team numbers are confirmed.
First prize $250.
Competition play will begin on Saturday the 21st, at 2pm sharp.
Each team will play both Terrorist and Counter Terrorists, each side being best of 12 rounds (24 Total). Teams will be split into two groups, playing in a 'round robin' style. Points will be awarded in the following fashion. - 3 points for a win.
- 1 point for a draw.
- 0 points for a loss.The top two teams from each group will then enter the elimination, semi final round, where the two winning teams will then clash it out in the finals. Maps played will be selected from the following.. - de_inferno
- de_dust2
- de_train
- de_cbble
- de_nuke
- de_aztecMaps will be allocated to each round closer to the event.

I'd be more worried about actually getting 8 teams, 40 players to actually participate lol.. and i'll agree with the above Nuke is a much nicer map for warring on.
I'd highly recommend people to give it a shot.. I think theres a pretty good chance anyone could win it as there arent very many serious clans around anymore..
Goldmember, Vorly, Stormin and Authentic all need to log into the DGA website using their Gamers-Underground Forum username and password. If they don't have an account of GU, they'll need to create one. PM myself or Raker for further assistance.
yep fixed. another problem though, can't create same clan for different comp. eg. VB (Vorly Brownie) is clan for WC3 I can't have VB again for RA3. Can this be changed pls? I would like VB for both WC3 and RA3
anyone looking for an extra player just to get ur numbers up to 5? i cant claim to be a good player but i work well as cannon fodder and to make them waste their bullets :P

Question about clans: Do all the members playing HAVE to sign up into a clan on the site or can they just be in it on the day? Coz my team has 5 players but 2 havnt been able to join the clan on the site YET. 1 might soon (To lazy to make an account to even sign into the site) but the other 1 I think doesnt have internet connection.

Yeh that kinda sucks, the whole steam update thing. I think we have a new map coming soon. Anyway to be safe maybe dont update after EVO has started? I always do a 1 last look for updates b4 i leave the house.
ok how about i phrase it like this. if the server is runing a version of the game that is older than your own, can you play. ie is cs:s backwards compatable. but i wont test that anyway. lol playing a brand new map first time at evo would rock

I dont know if its been said b4 but does the CS:S comp have a second place prize? even if its just free cokes?
