Ive playing on the new server at the moment, playing a Glad.
The rates dont appear to be in balance unfortunately.
Level 15 and i only have 130k adena. In l2x id be well over 2.5mil at level 20, easily able to buy my D-Grade.
I know its way better / faster than Retail but the problem im facing is thus :
Im levelling way too fast for my gear.
At this rate im going to be level 30 before i can afford D-Grade equipment ><
Any suggestions guys?
As I suggested to you on msn sean, I believe its so that people cant afford top end d grade.

at 20 not best equipment by about 24-25 should be ok bye 40 plenty of money past that not sure
Yeh i havent continued playing, I prefer the l2x style of fast money and fast levels.
The disparity on ES takes away from it ;(

we should all re roll on the titan server of l2x .. so much better.
titan still crashes about 3/4 of the time Kastien does... I'm sure they'll fix this eventually. Whats the point of having a shtihouse server that crashes all the time?
Ok guys this is a bit more of a challenge.
The problem is we havent got any hand me down money
Also you started on l2x with much better gear.
This is what seems to work.
Level 1-8ish maybe 10 with starter gear
Buy the 50-60K weapon when you can and ss/sps
Take that to 15 then buy a better weapon if you want.
At 20 you have about 1 mil, buy the best weapon u can
at 25 you have enough to buy top D and top D armour.
After that you have no cash worries
Get to 30 guys and please yell out if you having a problem.

never played retail cause I dont pay continuously to play games.

They are saying the low lvl areas suck the anus for adena, apparently not working correctly or something ..
which is true I am lvl 20 and only 900k adena.
So if people are higher lvls with plenty of adena i think as a clan we need to help each other ..
ALSO - KEEP ALL YOUR ARMOUR/WEAPONS FROM ALL GRADES this will help everyone when it comes to lvl ing ..
considering this I am willing to give it a resonable shot.

yeah the only concern I have is well it feels like a grind ..
its alright, I mean we just need to remember to keep armour/weaps and help each other out where possible.

You think mobs are gay cos they're harder. More challenge.
You can actually group on es and earn awesome xp. Group in cruma-trust me. I think this game is slightly more geared for grouping.
*There are plenty of spots to level where you can find mobs that arent dead in 0.05 seconds*
On my sps at 61 i was earning 100,000 xp per spell(yes 400k xp took 4 spells to die, they died in 5-10seconds). With plenty of mobs around it's actually way faster than l2x. This was in dvc.
There is actually i bit of a challenge, and you still get reds and purples around the place.
Money - You WONT be able to buy 4 weapons on your new grade and overenchant them as soon as you hit 40, 52 etc.
You WILL be able to buy all you equipment easy at each grade change except lvl20!.
At 61(A grade) you will be able to buy all your eq easy, but you will need AA to unseal your armor and put an SA in your weapon. This takes a bit of farming the seal stones, but yes you gotta work for it, they dont just hand you the high end stuff like l2x.
Thats the thing though I've been playing MMORPGs since I could breathe and fart; and the grind is basically no longer enjoyable for me. The reason I got into lineage extreme was to level up and get into PvP as soon as possible and to avoid the common downsides of games like this such as item/gold/adena farming etc.
I'm here for PvP, not to get satisfaction out of some hippy love experience called "grouping". In my opinion the only worthwhile grouping is in PvP.
Also if it is easier to level and have the best equipment it means more people are going to be on the same level of experience and equipment. That way we have people relying on skill rather than who has worked the hardest to suit their character up to win a battle.
As i said plenty theres reds and people always looking for fights. The population isnt as high yet, but the more people the more fights.
I am talking about grouping as a means to level faster than anywhere in l2x. I have done this, i know. You can also solo cave beats for 400k xp, what do they give in l2x? Bloody queens at appropriate levels are just under 400k xp also. And they are easy to kill.
And Lupos when our 4 man party comes in to gank your ass and protect the red(usually scotts brother), and take your room cos your solo'ing you may think differently about grouping.
But for those who want no work whatsoever l2x is probably a better option. I just can't stand the slow leveling at higher levels simply for the lack of mobs.

could somebody obvious higher lvl, explain the areas on where to go ..
0-20 - I found Elven Fortress was good at 10-20.
20-40
40-60
60+
20-25 Near Dion
25-30 Exe grounds
30+ Cruma Swamps, Orc Barracks , Partisan hideaway
40+ same as normal

Personally i think 1-40 is pretty much the same as L2x(i did it in one night same as l2x), but IMO from 40 onwards if you know what you're doing, ES is much faster to level.
That being said it is class dependant. Buffers will take longer to xp than dd.
Also there are not hundreds of donators with +25weapons or hero weapons that wtfpwn your lvl75 like you were 20.
Has anyone noticed a difference in graphics quality on this server? I find it odd that the graphic settings are exactly the same on ES as my l2x and the quality of the characters appearance and general npc items/ scenery etc is looking a bit nasty.
i like the gay es server cleaner edges less lag i can 2 box and have more alts :p buffs last 3 hours and the u can input in to how the server will run things the guys that are running it are still at the stage of it being fun and not just work oh and it is up a whole lot more and as some one that can play up to 8 hour stretches thats a good thing
yeah sick of the consistant crashes on l2x, this is a refreshing change, and we are talking about a FREE server guys... its worth every cent :p one thing i have noticed on these free servers, you cant turn on the "auto soulshot" feature :( maybe its just me being lazy
i think i spent 3 hours at my pc to play 15mins on kastien the other week. have not played much since. i will be joining u guys on the new server in the next couple of days

Alright I'll get into it for a bit, but man soloing is a lot tougher. I mean I see a white name creature and think yeah i can take it... but I got the piss beaten out of me by an orc at level 7 :(
are casters as hacked on es as they are l2x?
there are mana and acumen pots, but the cast speed has been turned down a little but mages are always over powered.
The slower cast speed feels really lame when I'm used to something twice as fast.

No it is as balanced as L2 gets. They do say archers are wack tho, and judging by the amount of archers i'd say they are the flavour atm.
There are alot more archers/daggers than mages.
You see in my opinion the only reason mages would be crap is if they have nerfed curse spells like sleep/cancel etc. so either they have made the spells useless and left them with nothing more than nukes which in my opinion is a bit of a dud move.
I like a server with more warriors and less mage type characters but I feel that a mage should be something to be truly feared in the hands of a skilled player. If they've just nerfed everything that made a mage worth playing thats pretty harsh.
Sleep is still the same. Thats all a good mage needs.
Cancel takes a longer time to cast(thats the only skill ive seen nerfed so far).
However being surprised will always kill a mage as they are 2-3 shot wonders against archers. (Daggers at least you can see coming).
I have a gladius (with SS) and full wooden set and im getting wtfpwnt by white mobs :/

I seem to be doing ok now.
Have about 7mil after getting my C grade gear.
Thats after i decked out two other people in their D grade hehe.
