Well I would give it a shot, BUT THE REGISTRATION IS DOWN!

I'm over retail Lineage2, everyones a dirty fkn cheat, and the endless grind is finally getting to me, I was hoping to stick around for C4 but all the new stuff (apart from 25% land mass increase) is for lvl 75 and above, and fk that. Most people I thought were legit players but as it turns out they are all dirty l2walking mofo's that even share their account with players overseas to help level them (hellooooo why bother paying to play at all?????).

I'm going back to work in a few weeks and I gotta stop playing on my computer so much so I may as well have some fun on L2 before then.

I think im gonna give a Human sorceror a crack and maybe start a bladedancer as well for a buffbot.

Haven't decided on a name yet guess I'll do that when the registration gets back online, which will hopefully be some time this week.

Ladiesman (Level 69) was benched once, i'll wait till his 3 month block runs out then let him go to dust or if I haven't blown up all his equipment then try sell him, some of the americans pay fkn ridiculous prices!

I'll drop you guys a PM in game

Until then have fuN!!!!!

Tust me the grass is greener on this side :)

Post 3

indeed. why be pissed off at a game? may as well have super fun...it wont last, but that leaves more time for REAL things to do :)

Post 4

Wow 69, thats good shit, almost 70.

I only made 63 before tapping:(

BTW what happened with revolution kicking you or something?

Post 5

Apparently they are all fking botters

Post 6

Ok this is the story as far as I know it.

Zurk Reapa and myself were in TheBlu's clan Industry.

Zurk likes getting people worked up but he's only kidding and reapa just tags along for the ride. I was going around to Zurk's house for a pissup with those two, I was on the train to their house when I get an SMS from reapa saying TheBlu had kicked both him and reapa from the clan.

I get to Zurks house, they said that for a laugh they were saying in clan chat they were gonna beat me up and take my account password, LOL! Then I think they also said they were gonna get Blu's password and take over his account. Blu had been on his rags lately and really moody so he must have taken it seriously and booted them both from clan, I could see it coming anyway but not over something like this.

They had 3 pc's where we were so we were all logged on fighting in the arena just mucking around. I was still tagged and in clan but wasn't chatting as we were drinking and having fun, all of a sudden I noticed I was no longer clan tagged, and this was the brief conversation I had with blu that followed

Ladiesman: WTF?
<no answer>
Ladiesman: Well fvck you then
TheBlu: Obviously I made the right choice then
Ladiesman: Ok if you think so

and I've never heard anything from any of them since.

AND YES 90% OF THOSE MOFO'S ARE L2WALKING CHEATING BOTTING FLOGSTICKS!!!!!!!

Post 7

noone made forced you zurk and reapa to join industry clan , elly did make a new clan.

and though i only heard snippets of why you guys were booted from the alliance i dont know the story. having not been on a week

perhaps you would like to enlighten us why you were booted ladies?

This was the main reason i made elly make a new clan. That is that if we decided to leave the alliance we were empowered to do so on our own terms.

Do you seriously think that i am gonna follow blindly the decisions made by someone else that will affect me... dont think so.

As for grass is greener comments thats crap the game is the same... it is THE private servers that are the CHEATS having hacked the game to give more exp items etc. I can tell you right now there are more people on private servers that use l2 walker than retail. Only difference is no farmers on private server because its too easy.

Post 8

"I can tell you right now there are more people on private servers that use l2 walker than retail."

Not on the server we play on, scammers, walker users and cheats are all banned no questions no 2nd chances.
L2x however was terrible for duped items.

It hard to use walker on private servers because the protocol is different to retail and the walkers have to have the right protocols or it doesnt connect to the game.

Post 9

Our server currently has 1200 people online most of the time, thats close to retail :(

It has more GM's, more custom high level areas, more events and less bullshit.

Im not saying it's better than retail but it cetainly is a lot more fun.

How about you guys come give it a go for a few days before making up an opinion. Perhaps try a class you never would in retail.

Post 10

I'm not into instant gratification i actually like to have to work forthe high end items in the game. the fact that duping is rife on private servers.

People seem to think every is a botter on retail. I have never botted and the people i group with don't bot ( well l2walker they do 2 box). So there are people i just dont group with.

As for blu i dont trust his decision making and never have he seems bi polar at the best of times however there are a lot of people in the alliance i do like like ginercat tamada, lex, wobbler, warlok, brymstone. + those within our own clan.

Just privately i can see revolution going to shit industry and endless pariah have tarnished any reputation by acting like retards because they are bored of the grind or they have their subclasses and dont care about anyone else.

Ginercat put it very succintly that they are all selfish wont group wont help in trouble but expect the earth to move when they are in trouble.

Why is everyone attacking us well basically ferst bots and pks people for no real reason and blu goes on training runs to kill what he believes are walker bots and doesnt really care if someone else gets caught in the middle.

I dont see revolution surviving the acts of idiots there are more double standards than i care to note especially with regards to razzing people up at the arena. Boromir does it all the time never a word said about it.

As for private servers , they are made for people that want an easy ride. If you think the l2 grind was bad you never played everquest or any other PvE online massively multiplayer game.I still have my asherons call account level 126 war mage max level is about 300ish now. There is nothing new about the grind in a mmorpg its designed to be hard slog or interest wanes quickly take WoW for example too easy people quitting in droves.

Post 11

i dont mind the grind i find it very theraputic its the fck sticks that play it that piss me off at least on the private servers u can make a higher lvl toon and have a chance to make these no life scum pay at least a little.

Post 12

talk about days of our lives. remember guys, this is still just a game. each to their own, but im still in it for enjoyment.

i enjoy the speed lvling and pretty much unlimted money, the GM's that hold festivals and tell jokes and arent afraid to tell you exactly whats wrong. the constant tweeks and add-ons that happen almost every week. most people on the server are harmless, but some wankers. then again you couldn't play testris without finding some wankers.

i think sometimes we should all take a step back and get things into perspective, how much time do we really want to waste playing this game? and lets face it, it IS wasting time. most of us have done that..(i did a very long time ago :P). but if you enjoy it...good luck to you, but dont make accusations about private servers because we dont have to work as hard, and that they are all hackers.

i dont know about you but i have never seen another game with so much interest for private hacked versions of the game, but private servers have 10 times more interest than the REAL game. there is almost 5000 active players on l2x every day...which is why they are having so many troubles :P and there are dozens of private servers.

I think this is going to happen too. Rev doesn't have many members to begin with, and although Blu says he doesn't take the game personally(it's just a game), EVERY action i have seen of his contradicts this completely. If he kicked 3 members for shit talking with no avenue for reversal(judging by his reply to ladies on Rev boards) then he takes the game way to seriously. A good leader listens and judges both sides, doesnt just impose their will cos they're on their rags.

Rev relies on allies to keep oren, and blu/ferst etc are losing allies one by one.

Unless its against your ethics ^^ can you please post me the reply, because funnily enough I lost complete access to the l2revolution boards shortly after my post was made so I cant even see any replies, hows that for justice!!!!!!

Laugh Out Loud!!!

Post 18

ok why do lots of people play private ... simple they have a hacked version of the game that doesnt need a serial number to register

same as any game its called piracy!

and for every 1 person that goes out and buys a game there are 5-10 that will download it from the web and not buy a serial code.

As for the blus post the mind does boggle sometimes. I will be speakign to elly next time i see him online.

Post 19

I agree with all you have said about INdustry and EP Spear.
We sorta saw it heading that way unfortunately.

I knew that they botted in some occasions, then when wobbler put up that RAID boss SS with its HP's I understood that it might be more than just a casual fling.

No SB partied with botted chars although there were several TOI 10 ally groups that I thought were a bit funny.

Heretic, it isnt so much about wasting time, our time in L2 was a lot of fun, perhaps the position we were put in by Industry/EP wasn't the best but it gave us access to the higher areas of the game and sieging.
We also met a lot of good players and people like Mog/Elly/Spear and many others.

It just came down to a point where a lot of players were not having fun, there were a variety of reasons but they all pointed to the same conclusion.

L2 Private servers are not the answer, they are just a good diversion for a while, they dont have a long time future.

As always a meeting somewhere in the middle would be perfect :(

Post 20

I paid my fees with L2, I played for almost 2 years in total so I definitely gave them my money's worth.

But the fact of the matter is times have changed in Lineage, its no longer the fun game I enjoy, I was going to hold out until C4 but now I'm wondering for what? sure there will be more monsters and more land mass, but its still the same endless grinding. All the new skills/classes are for lvl 75's and higher and I dont believe I'm going to get that high any more.

The most fun I ever had in the game was when I was in the clan Drako Knights in TheProfessionals alliance, we used to have at least 1-2 full clan parties every day, we'd all climb ToI together, pk farmers on the way, pick fights with people we didn't like, then xp our karma off and grind away, those days were awesome and I've looked but I dont think I will ever find that again.

I'm simply running out of time to play L2 at the moment and I wanna have some fun, if that means going to a private server and lvl'ing fast to get some classes up high to see their skills/abilities then so be it, heck I might even decide I dont like the private servers and stay with retail but I'm gonna give it a shot.

I agree with CoCo whole heartedly when he said they dont have a long time future, if Olib is almost level 80 already then I can see I'll hit max level in no time since I'm not working at the moment, it definitely doesn't have the end game of WoW (raids, epic items etc, etc) but I think getting high lvl, give a crack at some serious overenchanting without completely destroying my characters funds will be a bit of a laugh, and some PvP along the way with people that will actually flag without having to outnumber the enemy 5-1 will also be some good entertainment, my 2 cents anyway.

To put this frankly TheBlu has never shown me any good leadership skills, the only reason I was in the clan alliance was because I made a few good friends that I was happy to play/chat with.

TheBlu randomly cracks the sh|ts just out of TheBlu (no pun intended), treats others like crap sometimes but expects everyone to wipe his assring clean with kleenex, he's happy sitting in his perfect little botting parties so doesn't care how other people xp and DEFINITELY doesn't help, I even saw him blow his lid off at Nerthus (they live together and are partners) in clan chat and I couldn't believe my eyes it was totally uncalled for.

If you ever want proof they bot just go right down to the back of ascetics catacombs late at night/early morning and I'll guarentee you find some Revolution happily xp'ing away but surprisingly, only one person will talk to you, the person in control of the party.

Sad times indeed.
When we first got involved with Revo they kind of lied to me in hindsight. I was told that they would stay neutral, avoid drama, try to take a castle but essentially work towards a stable and amicable position in the world of Aden.

Their allies would be supported with XP groups and assistance with A grade manufacture. I don't know how many ppl benefited from those and I must say in the early days things did look up. We did a few raids and things seemed to go smoothly.
Unfortunately this is where a reality check was needed. The gobbing off on l2blah took its toll and Ferst plunged Revolution well and tuly into the idiot soapbox. Theblu seems to agree with everything he says. I dunno why but it seems that Ferst can't do any wrong by Blu's reckoning.
I knew they were bored and out for themselves but I didn't consider then selfish and immature.
I guess time has proven me wrong as this is exactly whats hapening. Blu appears to be a whiner and I suspect the alliance will not survive the weekend, esp if Oren falls.
Its almost like a flashback to the fall of Fahrig...

I simply don't know what lies ahead, I don't have the time to get involved with the drama. As just about everyone here points out, I play the game for fun, not to belittle others or try to makemyself look important on various forums.
I'm not a leet PK fanboi nor am I in favour of picking fights for the sake of picking fights as seems to be the fad for Revolution these days.

I'd really like for folks to stick around but it would seem that I can't get ppl to stay as long as we're in Revo.
I will have a chat with Wobbler as he seems to be the more sensible out of them all and assess whats going on.

I'll keep u guys posted.

This is what I posted today in Revolution's Leadership Forum

Quote:

Hello chaps,
I've been getting pm's from long time friends asking me to reconsider my position with Revolution. I was kind of taken off guard at this... I asked the obvious question why ?
I was under the impression that we're the good guys, we don't giref, we are friendly and we get on well with most ppl.

Apparently I am completely wrong and these guys are saying that Revo is getting a very bad name for itself, largely thanks to Ferst (sorry mate, I honestly don't know anything about it other than what I'm being told) who they say is gobbing off on L2blah and then taking matters into his own hands online.

Now whilst that may be so I replied thats between them and Ferst (or even EP) for that matter. Well apparently not.

I've been advised that there is there is a growing list of clans who are perceiving us to be the new upstarts who think they can dictate terms to the rest of the server and were about to get put in our place.

Well.. I said thanks for the tip fellas, I'll take it onboard and ask my own questions.

At the last siege I did ask Ferst to draft a list of those clans who were now our enemies. I thought that he would be probably best in the know due to his presence on L2blah where all such matters come into light pretty quickly.

I know he's been busy but perhaps this may be a time to shed some light on what exactly is happening out there and determine the next course of action.

Have we strayed from our original vision ? I know we had a few enemies at the begining but were trying to remain largely neutral.

Whilst I am aware of some of the incidents which occur between individuals, I didn't think that the clan politics are that fickle to be ruled by those who seem to have the most time to post or play online.

There hasn't been much discussion on where were heading politically nor what our policy will be towards the other clans. I've heard snippets here and there but it seems to change on a daily basis. Is this a correct assertion ?

I'm happy to discuss things on the forums or in a vent meeting, albeit the latter is going to require a bit of notice so that I can schedule it in accordingly.

Anyway over to you fellas, I've had just about everyone in SA PK'd over the course of the previous week and I guess whilst we all take it in stride and just crack on, it would be troubling to find ourselves and the new punching bag of Kain for a bunch of bored 75's from other prominent clans.

Regards,
Elly

I was going to mention the Ladiesman, Zurk and Reapa incident, but having spoken to Wobbler and theblu about it, its really an Industry issue and I'm not really privvy to getting any special answers or consideration. Whats done is done and they don't really want to talk about it.
In hindsight I mentioned that if thats the case the same would apply to Revolution should these guys wish to stay on and join with SA. I didn't get a response but you can all guess the answer :)
