Hey brownie, its Auth :) yes it can run dual core np, just update to the latest bios and you're fine. I ran my Dual core opteron on it for a while before upgrading to DFI Expert :)

i havent run an opteron on it, but i have heard they work just fine with this board - and i have been running my dual-core x2 4800 perfectly :smile:
