If you go overseas you can get VERY good fakes that are very hard to distinguish... My cousin came back from a trip to Malaysia and Hong Kong with heavens knows how many handbags but the quality is surprisingly good for a fake. If you ask me, buy her a ticket to Hong Kong or something and take her shopping for them :p.
I might be able to help you out a bit. What is your budget? I am going to Brisbane this weekend and I know someone there who knows where to get all these designer names from (not sure if they're fake or not, I guess they'd have to be if they're cheap). I might actually pick one up for a friend if they're reasonably priced (no way i'm spending $3k on a LV bag!) :D
You don't need a credit card. You can pay through cheque, cash on delivery, bank desposit and a couple of others I think.. not all sellers except all of them, however most will except bank desposit and credit card. Most people, and especially companies on eBay are very trustworthy. There is a rating next to their name which shows how many people have left positive feedback. It's a bit scratchy to buy off anyone under 10, especially without 100% position feedback, but it's all pretty fair and good.
Nice idea on getting a handbag btw.. I'd have never thought of that...
There should still be a Louie Vuitton outlet in the center of Brisbane. It's right across the road from the "Ticketek" (or wot eva they call it) office one street back from the mall (I didn't have a map of Brisy :P). But forget "cheap" if I recall a little mens shaving kit was like somewhere between $200 - $500 and that was the lowest item in the store ! As far as I'm aware I think it's the only "legit" outlet in Australia ?
True but not when you set yourself a limit for the item beforehand. So far I have saved just under what I was intending to spend :) Thanks for the advice though.
