HI peops.

I have a 5700le and its no good for playing Oblivion :(
crashes out of the game once i have been in for like 1/2 hour, less if i try and do the spell training tricks.

Im looking at getting either a ATI RADEON 9800 XT 256MB DDR AGP or a ATI RADEON X850XT AGP or a ATI RADEON X800XT AGP.

What i want to know is does anyone use these cards to play Oblivion with no hassels. (yes i can read the back of the box and its says they is supported)
just want to get a real life person to verify... .AND

Also which of these is the more recent card released.

Thanks.

I have a ATI x800 XL and it runs it fine, its even playable on almost max settings with AA etc turned on.

The x850 XT would be the most powerful and probably newest of those cards. Just remember ATI has already released the 1XXX series of cards now :P

x850xt - no problems here, 1920x1200. (pcie version)

Dickhead.

I believe he's asking for "real-life" answers here - ie, someone who's actually played it.

And regardless of your fanboy bias, he is not asking nvidia or ATI - it's a choice he has made out of those three cards.

I was using a 9800xt, worked fine. Now using a 6600gt, not so good. If you have the cash i would recommend the x850 vid card. Like Pala says, should work sweet.
