Dates etc are still up in the air for the July LAN and i think we are combining July and august into one LAN that will go for 48-72 hrs everything is still in planning we were just wondering how many people would be interested in coming to the LAN i think there will be a limit on the ammount that we have... but everything else is still unplaned.
Please post if you are interested on coming it will be on a thursday friday saturday during school holidays i think
why don't you put a poll? that way you have better idea of the numbers?
any chance of getting a dsl 1.5 or higher connection at your lans?

...if you have it on a weekday, the attendance will be slim. you should have it over a weekend

we dont have wow at our lans anymore as it ended up with 8-12 ppl playing that and 3 ppl playing the scheduled games. And we do have 1.5 but it is only for steam and http://www.nos-gaming.com so people can sign up for the site.

When you say limited numbers, how many are you talking about?
ok there are normally 3 decent comps that we let ppl use but i 'think' they may all be booked. i can check if anyone wants to know. just yell on here and i will try and find out.
also we have a smallish room so me and leech88 have done the calculations before and we came to the conclusion that we could fit in 18-19 ppl. any more and we dont have the power or networking capabilities yet as all of the stuff is provied by the church (except the servers)

Well any way i am going.

WC3 1.20c (i think that is what we are running atm)
2v2 tourney ladder style like at evo
Random Races on either two maps that are un diced (coin flip will decide)
I my self am not religous and in the 3 or 4 lans that i went to i herd nothing on the subject whilst i was there.
The air con was set at a chilling 19 degrees and it stayed that way all night with about 15 guys in there with computers on o and a dog also that stayed.
I had lots of fun learning how to play CSS for the first time.
Had my fair share of owning in the BF series.
And footmans in WC3 is allways good fun with random teams.

like i said i dont go to church but i still respect their rights to their own religions.
Im not being a pain in the arse its just that every time we announce one of these lans on the site it gets bagged out for being at a church. ( the pastor is the one that lets us play there and he normally brings his computer along as well)

He's being modest, Sealcomm (the pastor) is as big of a gamer as the rest of the NoS gamers. Not the best a FPS but he can hold his own :P

Now swwjs or how ever it's spelt is a lil annoyed. Thus his rant. Now seems there have been no angry DGA people biting back. And I would like to point that out to the NoS gamers on the DGA forum, as you are using the 'DGA' forum, you have rights, but it's their lawn, don't shit on it. Things have calmed down it seems, don't raise it again if it can be helped.

It's sad to see you guys bag us out because we have a location that we can keep our overhead prices down and let you game here for a cheaper than what we could if we were at a different location. That is all it is is a location we don't bible bash or anything like that if that is what you are worried about.
We have a fun LAN now if you guys are only interested in pulling us down can you make a forum else where to do it. We went to the trouble of finding you guys to invite and then you turn around and stab us in the back.
We are still inviting you to come we will be running two competitions a CSS and a War 3 both with prises the first 20 people to registar will get prioity seating that means that they will get the aircon room we may or may not have extra seating after the first 20.
So come if you want too please registar so that we can decide if we are going to have more seating or not
