Tf2 won't be as long lasting as a whole console :p Tf2 is one game, Wii is hundreds.

As for the consoles, Wii will definatly own. Can't wait to get my hands on one of them Wii-motes, just imagine the arm swingin action while playing drunk. Should make for some interesting experiances :grin:

I will end up buying a PS3 no doubt.
The Wii looks like a bunch of fun, but Nintendo lost my interest when i hit puberty.
Sony's games target a far more mature audience.

personally, i prefer to have fun when i play games, and get all mature and thought provoking with other things :p
and all i need to say is zelda. :)

As opposed to PIKA PIKA PIKA every 5 seconds :P
Granted though, there are a number of Gamecube titles i quite enjoyed.

QWTF was enjoyed by Australians for over 6 years before the community died. Counter-Strike is going strong after 8.
If the life span of the next big PC game is at least that long, then it will last longer than the next generation of consoles, as successors are released every 4-6 years (typically, based on console history).

Buying both PS3 and Wii. I really really don't want to fork out a grand for a PS3, but my love of console tekken dies hard. And Wii makes my eyes bleed, but in a strangely pleasing way.
