We have noticed that you have confirmed and thus making the numbers 41/40.
Unfortunetly you will not be given entry to this DGA as you were number 41 of the total 40 we can fit into the venue.
This post is so that you dont show up and get dissapointed.
We will also drop you an email advising of the above.

huh he is 41 of 41.. so hes in?
Should redo the code to prevent signing up after the limit hits, or put them on a queue or something and give them warning when signing up ;)
yes that is a bit harsh in my view, as in the past even when 60 confirmed and 60 rocked up, 1 or 2 extra people not on the list were allowed to sit... but anyway meh...

I guess you/dga felt the need to prove a point there, which in a way is fair enough. Certainly doesnt put dga in a very friendly 'fun loving' light though.

Its all good, people can look at it as they want.
The fact still reamins that I reminded people on more then 1 occasion to confirm.
Be it 40 register and 35 show up, this will be noted and those 5 will be looked at differently later on. However there will be no body else allowed to enter, due to room constraints.
This will all be looked at for further lans of course, and numbers may change up or down as we see fit.

If someone can pm me RoyMcRoys mobile or other number among those others that have missed out
then in the event that someone cancels before i leave the house on saturday morning and beware i will be leaving rather early
then i will attempt to contact them and let them know there is a free spot
but if you havent already confirmed then as space is very limited at the bridge club then you will have to game with the rest of us next time.
Unseen along with the rest of us on the committee who attended meetings made the decisions in the best interests of the dga
If you want to have input into things then you are more than welcome to come along to meetings and have some imput and help
