Blizzard began the closed-beta phase of testing on World of Warcraft: The Burning Crusade earlier this month. The January 2007 release window will allow extra time for current beta testers to participate in the final stages of development and continue providing valuable feedback.

and post-christmas sales wont effect the price. so i wouldnt bother waiting. you dont put things on sale that will sell awesomely. keep it the normal price and you'll make more money. people will buy it anyway.

Yep...too many fking premades in tier2 getting too much honour for equ they dont need. Instead of Honour capping or fixing the premade vs premade function.
They just shaft the casuals again.

You dont have to buy/install it until you want to access the new zones (Outland/Belf/Draino Starting areas).

Judging by Blizz previous efforts the servers are going to be shithouse for a week at least. I wont be bothering about it too much, it will still be there on the weekend :)
